Rangali Agro India Private Limited


March-3-12: Bringing a hope of ray to the agricultural farmers of Darrang district particularly the mustard oil seed growers who were compelled to sell their produces to the middle men that too in a very nominal rate, a teacher turned prospering industrialist Gautam Saha, proprietor of Rangali Agro India Private Limited of Kharupetia town in the district founded a mustard oil mill at Rohinikash near Kharupetia town with the production target of 50 tonne per day. The mill will produce and market the Rangali Gold Kacchi Ghani Mustard Oil with the assurance and guarantee of quality product. Inaugurating it in an auspicious function attended by a large number of public, businessmen and mediapersons, Industry and Power Minister Pradyut Bordoloi appreciated the spirit of Gautam Saha who transformed himself from a school teacher to an industrialist for starting his new venture in Kharupetia to boost the rural agro based economy of the state. “It is almost impossible to provide government jobs to all the educated unemployed youths and appointment of teachers can never be a solution to the unemployment problem and the industries based on agricultural produces has the ample scope to provide employment” opined Minister Bordoloi in his speech. He also said that the state government has been giving priority to the small scale industries than the large scale industries in the state. He also congratulated the agricultural farmers of Kharupetia for their multi cropping system thereby contributing a lot to the state economy.
