Assam Police has inaugurated Kharupetia Police Station to improve security in the area. In a formal ceremony held in Kharupetia on 8th April 2013.
The police station was formally inaugurated by the member of Assam legislative assembly(68-Dalgaon L.A.C.)or Parliamentary Secretary w.e.f. MD ILIAS ALI and Shri Jitmol Doley, IPS(SP).
